FocalId is searching for a skilled Senior Frontend Engineer to join our friendly tech team as we grow. In this role, you’ll play a key part in crafting the future of AI and enterprise sector products. Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with back-end developers and web designers.
• Help back-end developers with coding and troubleshooting.
• Use markup languages like HTML to create user-friendly web pages.
• Create quality mock-ups and prototypes.
• Implement good UI engineering practices within the team.
• Grooming junior UI engineers.
• Stay up to date on emerging technologies.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Software Engineering or relevant.
• 4 – 7 years or more of experience building web applications for enterprise software.
• Professional experience working with TypeScript and Angular.
• Experience with RxJS is a plus.
• Knowledge of iterative software development, including agile methodologies.
• Knowledge of modern software engineering principles, including but not limited to shift-left, testing pyramid, cloud computing, CI/CD, distributed architecture, and feature flags.
• Experience making, presenting, debating, and documenting architectural decisions.
• Experience in participating in the interview process. You have a high bar for talent and you expect to work in a high-performance environment.
• Comfortable presenting to software engineers, managers, and senior engineering leadership.
