FocalId is searching for a skilled Senior Frontend Engineer to join our friendly tech team as we grow. In this role, you’ll play a key part in crafting the future of AI and enterprise sector products. Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with back-end developers and web designers.
- Help back-end developers with coding and troubleshooting.
- Use markup languages like HTML to create user-friendly web pages.
- Create quality mock-ups and prototypes.
- Implement good UI engineering practices within the team.
- Grooming junior UI engineers.
- Stay up to date on emerging technologies.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Software Engineering or relevant.
- 4 – 7 years or more of experience building web applications for enterprise software.
- Professional experience working with TypeScript and Angular.
- Experience with RxJS is a plus.
- Knowledge of iterative software development, including agile methodologies.
- Knowledge of modern software engineering principles, including but not limited to shift-left, testing pyramid, cloud computing, CI/CD, distributed architecture, and feature flags.
- Experience making, presenting, debating, and documenting architectural decisions.
- Experience in participating in the interview process. You have a high bar for talent and you expect to work in a high-performance environment.
- Comfortable presenting to software engineers, managers, and senior engineering leadership.
