As a UI/UX Engineer with Mobile Experience at FocalID Technology, you will play a crucial role in designing and developing intuitive, responsive, and visually appealing user interfaces for our mobile applications. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams, including designers, product managers, and software engineers, to create seamless user experiences that meet and exceed our customers’ expectations.

Responsibilities:

• User-Centric Design: Collaborate with the design team to understand user needs, gather requirements, and create user-centered designs that prioritize user experience and usability.
• Mobile App Development: Design and develop user interfaces for mobile applications on iOS and Android platforms, ensuring optimal performance and responsiveness.
• Prototyping and Wireframing: Create interactive prototypes, wireframes, and mockups to visualize and iterate on design concepts, using industry-standard tools.
• UI Implementation: Write clean and maintainable code to implement UI designs, leveraging your expertise in HTML, CSS, and mobile-specific technologies such as React Native or Flutter.
• Usability Testing: Conduct usability testing and gather user feedback to refine and improve the user interface, making data-driven design decisions.
• Collaboration: Collaborate closely with product managers, software engineers, and other stakeholders to ensure seamless integration of UI/UX designs into the development process.
• Accessibility: Ensure that the mobile applications meet accessibility standards and guidelines, making our products inclusive for all users.
• Performance Optimization: Optimize mobile application UIs for performance, ensuring smooth interactions and minimal load times.
• Stay Updated: Stay up-to-date with the latest trends, tools, and technologies in UI/UX design and mobile development, bringing fresh ideas and innovation to the team.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Human-Computer Interaction, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
• Proven experience in UI/UX design for mobile applications, with a strong portfolio showcasing your work.
• Proficiency in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and mobile app development frameworks (e.g., React Native, Flutter).
• Experience with user testing and usability studies.
• Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
• Knowledge of accessibility standards and guidelines is a plus.
• Familiarity with design tools such as Adobe XD, Sketch, Figma, or similar.
